“Looked around the whole of Manchester and couldn’t find an electrician who could do the job I needed other than Mister Electrics. His price and how quick and efficiently he got the job done was by far the best I could find.”

24/7 emergencies
Burning smell, hot socket or a board that keeps tripping? Ring now.
Out of hours we trade as The Emergency Electricians: the same electricians on the same number, day and night, weekends and bank holidays included. Most callouts across Greater Manchester are reached within the hour.
Our starting prices include VAT: fault finding from £95 for the first hour, an extra socket from £85, an EICR from £150, a fuse box from £449 and a rewire from £2,350. Small jobs are priced from a photo before we set off. Larger work gets an itemised written quote after a free visit, covering labour, materials, testing, certificate and VAT. The written price is the price you pay, unless you change the job.
Yes. A single socket, a new light fitting or a switch that has stopped working are all welcome. Small jobs are priced from a photo, and several jobs in one visit cost less than several visits.
Yes. Notifiable work such as a new circuit, a fuse box change, a rewire or most bathroom and outdoor work is notified to Building Control for you. We handle the notification and pass the Building Control certificate on to you once the work has been signed off.
A new circuit, a fuse box change or a rewire gets an Electrical Installation Certificate. Small additions to an existing circuit get a Minor Works Certificate. An inspection gets an EICR. Your certificate is emailed before the invoice is due.
Our EICR is £150 for a flat or house up to three bedrooms. In England a rented property needs one at least every five years, or sooner if the last report says so. Any C1, C2 or FI items must be put right within 28 days and written confirmation sent to the tenant. We do the report, price any remedials separately and send everything to your agent.
Usually. Rewires are planned room by room with power restored each evening, dust sheets down and the mess cleared daily. We talk through alarms, fridges and home working before the power goes off.
Yes, fully insured, with public liability cover to £5m. Every job is signed off by a qualified electrician to BS 7671, and workmanship is guaranteed for twelve months in writing on the invoice.
